SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping costs are charged upfront. They  are calculated on the size and weight, shipping method and carrier. They do not include any brokering or customs fees that may be incurred. Any taxes and duties due upon delivery are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

SHIPPING ERRORS AND RETURNS

In the case where work is returned to me due to incorrect shipping information / address, I will reimburse you the cost of the piece, minus any additional shipping costs incurred. Original shipping costs are none refundable. 

DUTY / CUSTOMS FEES

I make every effort to make any and all customs fee, import duties, etc. as low as possible. However, in the case the customs fees are incurred, they are the responsibility of the consumer. 

Refund Policy - Original Artwork & Commissions 14 Day Guarantee

All Katie Brennan original artwork comes with a 14 day guarantee - you have 14 days to live with the work and make sure you absolutely love it. The 14 day count begins from the day the piece(s) arrive at your home, residence, office or other specified location. This is indicated through shipping tracking arrival date. 

The Refund Process begins the moment you email me asking for a refund - you must email BEFORE the end of your 30 days. 

Refund Policy - Prints 14 Day Guarantee

All Katie Brennan prints comes with a 14 day guarantee - you have 14 days to live with the work and make sure you absolutely love it. The 14 day count begins from the day the piece(s) arrive at home, residence, office or other specified location. This is indicated through shipping tracking arrival date. 

The Refund Process begins the moment you email me asking for a refund - you must email BEFORE the end of your 14 days. 

How Refunds Are Processed

Once you have contacted me to begin your return, you are to ship the work back to me, in its original packing and in its original condition - I will provide you an address at that time. You, the customer, are responsible for the cost of return shipping.

ORIGINAL ARTWORK & PRINTS REFUNDS

Once the work has been returned to me and deemed to be in good condition, I will issue you a refund - 80% of the price of the original work or prints (including taxes) will be returned to you. Payment will be made in the agreed upon manner (cheque, paypal or email interac transfer - only available to Canadian clients). I charge a 20% restocking fee for refund transactions on original artworks and prints. Original shipping costs (the cost of shipping the work to you) are not refundable. 

COMMISSIONS REFUNDS

Once the work has been returned to me and deemed to be in good condition, I will issue you a refund - 50% of the price of the commissioned work (including taxes) will be returned to you. Payment will be made in the agreed upon manner (cheque, paypal or email interac transfer - only available to Canadian clients). I charge a 50% creation fee for refund transactions on commissioned work. Original shipping costs (the cost of shipping the work to you) are not refundable. 

Damaged Work

I make every effort to package my work in a manner that will ensure it's safety and arrival in its original condition. However, I cannot account for the handling your item may receive during shipping. Items damaged due to acts of God or handling / shipping are not the responsibility of the artist.

With this in mind, I agree to refund a portion of the cost of the artwork (to a maximum of 50%, dependent on the damage incurred). Proof of damage is required for any financial compensation to be considered. Financial compensation for damaged work will be considered on a case by case basis. Proof of damage must be emailed to me in the form of photos and a written declaration (How was the work damaged? When / how did you discover this damage?). I reserve the right to refuse to issue a refund of any kind.

Cancelling Your Order

You are able to cancel your order anytime before it is shipped to you. If the work has already been shipped, the refund policy above applies.
