Recently a friend of mine came across a painting in an old issue of Canadian House and Home that she thought looked very familiar.
What an eagle eye! I'm so glad she checked with me because, yes, that's one of mine.
I also love too when designers use my work in new ways. For example, the original of this piece is much smaller, only 20" X 24". I would have loved to have seen how this piece looks blown up so big. I really like holds this space - it brings to mind Clyfford Still's work and his belief that his works stand of and for themselves, entities of their own being.
Sure seems that way. This painting is getting around all on its own. Thanks Canadian House and Home and their designers for including me.
FYI - this image is from the December 2013 issue of Canadian House and Home, page 54.
