Unfortunately, I had already sold the original but I told this gentleman that I could make him an original of his own.

Recently I had a client contact me from Seattle inquire about this work.
When I told her how big the original was - it measures 5 feet by 5 feet - we had to rethink things. Luckily, this is a piece that was created through a somewhat systematic painting strategy that makes reproducing the piece again possible. Not only did she want one piece, but two! So the challenge became how to make two reproductions from a single original. After a good deal of sketching things out, I arrived at this solution: make the two pieces structured the same, but with different colour profiles - one lighter and grayer and the other darker and more brown.
